East End Road
Clients approached Office Sian with the intention to reconfigure the ground floor of their home to allow for a larger family room and kitchen. The requirement to separate different types of food in storage and when cooking formed the basis for a design concept and form which explored ideas of separation after movement, and the junction with old and new. A ‘soldier brick’ arrangement for the exterior walls, and bespoke window framing were used to expand on this concept to create a warm and bright family dining and living area. All works were completed within UK Permitted Development Law.
