This care home in Brent is the first housing in the area designed specifically for vulnerable tenants. The project provides a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for six adult residents with mental health disabilities. The design was developed in close collaboration with Brent Housing Partnership and Brent Council Adult Social Care to meet the unique needs of its inhabitants.

Thoughtful Design for Wellbeing
The original building, a dilapidated care home unused for over three years, has been completely transformed into a functional and inviting space. A strong aesthetic concept featuring colour-coding and textural surfaces helps create a sense of clarity, comfort, and security.
The home includes private kitchen and ensuite bathroom facilities for each resident, alongside communal spaces such as a dining room, quiet rooms, and a ‘hidden’ library. Outdoor spaces feature safe decking areas and a garden studio, providing opportunities for relaxation and engagement with nature.
